Best game of all time. I remember installing it on my, back then, brand new Pentium 60. From what I had seen I was aware that it would be good, but when I saw it in action it simply was beyond anything I had ever thought was possible... Doom II was simply larger than life. Gfx, gameplay, design, music, sfx - the real deal. Try Chocolate Doom for a genuine experice.
