Maybe a bit late. But have you tried to number and F1 keys?

=/- for engine
then 6,7,8,9 are for gear, breaks, open missile bay, and one more.
With the Function keys, you can change the screen, map, radar, missile bay, objectives.

Figured it out myself.
F-117 has similar keys.

So to take off: maximum speed. press the =-key a couple of times. then remove break and off you go

I can't start the engine of the plane. I know the buttons but nothing happens. Can you help me?

I remember I buying this when I was stationed in Hawaii during my time in the Marine Corps. I was the most popular guy in the barracks for a while; everybody wanted to play this. It set the standard for flight sims for many years afterward. I bought F117 when it came out several years later, and it never lived up to the standard of its predecessor for me.

Turning this baby at low altitude with a fighter on your tail is no fun,seems the designer forgot to put wings on it, oh well fun anyway.
