Feel free to download Countdown; it was published by Access Software in 1990.
Description
In this adventure game you play a guy who is locked in a sanctuary building. In the beginning of the game you don't know shit why you are there, but along the way the pieces of the puzzle fall in place. First thing to do is to get out of your room. After that you can walk around the place on several levels of the building, searching for clues and stuff to get you out.
The adventure is point and click and Access Software used real character to play the parts. It's from a gaming period I don't like myself. Just render everything or just draw the guys. Anyway. Once you walk around the building it's seen above. So you can walkaround the corridors. But you have to watch out, because when you got caught in the corridors you are dead meat for sure! So a tip is to save a lot!
Walkthrough is also available.

I have a new computer with Windows 7 on it, and it keeps giving me an error that I can’t play Countdown because this system doesn’t support full screen. Is there any way I can play, is there anywhere i can just play it online without downloading?

my dad spent 10 years on this game. Amazingly detailed, rediculously hard, this one will keep you busy. On top of it all, you have a time limit!
