Feel free to download Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe; it was published by LucasFilm Games in 1991.
Description
Also known as SWOTL. Great war flight game from 1991 in which you can fly missions during WWII. In the beginning of the game you have to choose betweend the U.S. Air Force or the German Luftwaffe. Jawohl!
There a different modes to play in. First of all there is a flight school where you can practice some gunnery or train for rocket launching. When you've got that under control you can try the B-17 Interception mission.
Second you can play Historical mission, campaign battles or custom mission.
Everything in the game can be recorded. This you can view back in the film room from different perspectives.
Excellent graphics and pretty good sound effects and music.
update 12/11/2008:
Added 4 planes which I got from a visitor.
Do 334, He 162, P38 Lightning and the P80
Thanks Steve!

Thank you for making this available. I spent many hours playing this back in the day. It downloaded fine and was up and running in minutes with Dos-Box. The ad-on planes were here too!

Any idea where one can get the expansions? I recall several additional planes being released for this game.

I played this game when much younger, never realised it’s made by the same guy who’s behind my another favorite: Tie Fighter. This game was a unique opportunity to fly P-38-51-80, as well as the wicked nazi designs! I believe that it’s not only me, for whom games like this and BattleHawks 1942 were among the first impulses to admire military aircraft.

Try to mount your DVD drive as the A drive in order to install to your mounted C drive. Also try mounting it as the D or E drive before installing.
