In 1989 Starflight 2 - Trade Routes of the Cloud Nebula was released by Binary Systems, Electronic Arts and is now abandonware.

Starflight 1 is five stars and addictive for weeks until beaten starflight 2- uh plays different

This game and its prequal is the closest thing you can find to acually being in a Star Trek style enviroment. It also has some humor to it too. $\"^O^\"$
