You should run the gaming using DOSBox. And I guess a restart of the computer will fix the 640x480 issue in windows.

I don’t know how and why but this game have broken my computer! the screen is now permantly at 640X480 and my couler qluatiy have dropped to 4 bit! attempts to change have resulted to a blue screen crash. this never happened untill i tried to play this game and so far, nothing is working. if this means i have to replace the entire computer or to reformat it then i’m going to have my kids that they can’t use the computer for a while.

If you have a copy of this game you can install the Open TTD game that is supported on most platforms, and developed further than the original game.

This was the first PC game I purchased. Still a blast today. As with any older game, use compatibility modes in needed. (Google it)

Making money is fun, but making huge amounts of money is awesome fun. I first ran this game many years ago on an old Win 98 platform and purchased a copy from a well known site, only to find it requires dos and windows 98 - thankfully some dedicated programmer wrote a small patch to convert it to run in later editions ie:win 98 compatability, thank you thank you thank you .. whoever you are.
