In 1990 Sword of the Samurai was released by Micrprose and is now abandonware.
Description
Manage your kingdom, fight fights, take brides, take land.
The game is quite good! Very good graphics, and the music takes you back to Japan in the 15th century.
You can train your troops, help other Samurai, gain trust, or be the blunt guy.
I managed to succeed with training. with the numbers you can select your troop. With * you can let the rotate to where you point to, - and + are for movement / attack.
I didn't figure out though how to use the sword in a melee or a duel.
