Breath of Fire 4 is a game created by Capcom in 2000 and is available for download.
Description
Aka Breath of Fire IV, is the only Breath of Fire game which was also ported to Windows.
This is a typical Japanese RPG game, like Final Fantasy where you have turnbased combat; zoomed in to only your party and opponent(s).
The game tells the story of Princess Nina and chieftain Cray which lost his family during some diplomatic mission. You start off on a sandflyer, but soon you get attacked by some big snake in the desert (reminded me of the sandworm in Dune). Anyway, you get stranded and you need spare parts. From there on we follow mainly Nina on her adventure to cities and beyond. You also meet yourself (Ryu, if you not changed the name).
It's quite a download, but an RPG lover will not be disappointed.

This is a Windows game. Sometimes it should be run on an older Windows version or at least a 32-bit Windows. You could use VMware player (free) and install an older Windows on a virtual machine. e.g. I have installed my old Windows XP 32bit on VMware. More info on that you can find over here.
