Description
In Sim Golf you start with an empty piece of land with a club house, and some money. With the money you will start to build your own golf courses. People start to come to your place and golf. Each time they finish a hole you will get money. You have to create creative holes which the golfers appreciate, want to come back and pay more money for the hole. If you advance you an also complete in 9 or 18 hole championships
The game is very addictive and nice to tweak your course. Raising or lowering parts of the fields. Build a garage so you golfers can use carts, thus play faster, thus more golfers can join.
Build restaurants, ball cleaning machines, properties. Hire groundskeepers, managers.
All in all a very good game.

This is a Windows game. Sometimes it should be run on an older Windows version or at least a 32-bit Windows. You could use VMware player (free) and install an older Windows on a virtual machine. e.g. I have installed my old Windows XP 32bit on VMware. More info on that you can find over here.

Got it sorted out (at least for me, running Windows 10 machine). Did an initial compatibility mode install, then got the v1 03 patch from MegaGames website (the one listed as Deviance back up CD) and replaced the game executable with the patched one. Unpacked the audio, started the game in WinXP mode and the tournament issue was fixed. Only remaining problems I have is that the first number of my money is listed as a ? mark and the game doesn't quit out properly (force closes from credits) | |

Got this to install and work just fine (try using the installing in compatibility mode and the unpack app to get sound. The installer doesn't close properly, but game is still installed). Only issue is that this seems to be the original release version of the game which always crashes if you try to start a tournament over 500k. Found the last (v103) patch, but after it's applied I can't get the game to start. Anyone have a solution? Thanks. | |
