Outpost is a game created by Sierra On-Line in 1994 and is available for download.
Description
I remember this game lying around in a bin at our local library. We didn't have a CD-ROM reader at that time and I forgot about the game. I guess I liked the dvd cover. Later on I heard that this game was full of little bugs and were never fixed.
So now you can enjoy it once more

Platform
Windows
This is a Windows game. Sometimes it should be run on an older Windows version or at least a 32-bit Windows. You could use VMware player (free) and install an older Windows on a virtual machine. e.g. I have installed my old Windows XP 32bit on VMware. More info on that you can find over here.

Rating it a 3 even though I love it because, well, the game is awful.

Played it a long time ago. Great game. Now someone is doing a remake of Outpost except including everything that was left out and fixing the bugs. It is called OutpostHD. Head over to Lairworks for links and help out if you wish to help.

Sorry about that. I forgot to update a field, and put it now on 'Windows'. My bad,

Cannot get this game to work on Windows 7 64-bit, despite following every DOSBox instructions I could find. I tried the regular Exe file as well as an ISO version. All it says is 'This program requires Microsoft Windows'.

This game requires windows 32 bit. According to forums online, several types of windows works, as long as it's 32bit. |
