A great game. And with a funny idea - wasn’t it the power of your commander’s voice that decided on how many soldiers you could command? Or was that only exoerience? Well, nevertheless, the game Hannibal was better, I think.

While the game itself is lacking in particular areas, it is only the areas that it creates (The coliseum is cool, but boring. Same as the races)

The negotiations seemingly always end with the native peoples being mad at you, and I found it nearly impossible to appease my home state (Italia), and they were literally rebelling every turn.

That said, I did not expect a lot from this game, but it was just amazing.

Good historical game, with a lot of fun sections in between. Can be addictive, but it tends to be repetitive once you’ve gotten the hang of it.
