Ultima 4 - Quest of the Avatar from the RPG genre was created by Origin System in 1987 and is free for you to download.


Description

Another fine Ultima game from Lord British. This time you have to become the 'Avatar'. You have to become a better person by obeying and gaining the 8 virtues in the game. Search for shrines and friends. The end goal is to fin the Codex of Wisdom for completing the quest of quests.
Where Ultima 3 was played with a party, in Ultima 4 you're back to only yourself.

This package contains also hints, cheats, maps and other documentation.

Spent many many hours playing this on an IBM PCjr, then a 286. Was surprised then when it appeared in EGA :-P

A very old and excellent RPG.
A good story about the virtues of an Avatar. A must have. Some people think about, that U4 is the best Ultima. I don´t think so. But it is one of the best Ultima games.
