Desert Strike - Return to the Gulf is a game created by Gremlin Interactive in 1994 and is available for download.
Description
This is a very nice shooter.The various missions take place in the Middle East. Each mission consists of several short missions, like blowing up radar, destroy airfields, find and rescue prisoners. I forgot to say you play this game using a chopper with lots of gunpower, and different missiles. Navigation is quite easy. F1-F3 will bring you to screen for mission, maps and status. Pressing the spacebar will get you back to the action.

Very nice game and lots of fun. I play it very often. Graphics are great, sounds, a bit of story in it too and the controls of the helicopter are excellent, you get used to them quickly. easy to play with just a few keys but without being a super simple boring game. keeps you comeing back and keep playing it.. I play it on android too with dosbox. highly recommended! There is also Jungle Strike which is the same game from the same developers. | |

It’s about 13 years since I last played this, but I remember having difficulty getting enough memory in DOS to play it. Once I did, I was rather disappointed - the Amiga version was better, sonically mainly. It was just so weedy on the PC. I believe the DOS version has an extra level - Super Gun, as I recall. | |
